Shipbourne Village Hall is available for hire by local residents and organisations.

It is suitable for family gatherings, children’s parties, club and society meetings and corporate presentations.

It is situated on the edge of the Common, to the east of the tennis courts, within a five minute walk of the Church and The Chaser.

Built in 1879, it was extended and modernised in 1999.
Any event that respects the Hall’s listed building status and the quiet and picturesque residential location would be welcome.

Shipbourne Village Hall
The main hall (7.5m x 5m) is light and airy with plenty of comfortable stacking chairs. A small adjoining committee room (3.5m x 5m) has a central meeting table. Both rooms are clean and tidy, heated and well lit. The Hall also has a modern, well equipped kitchen and an attractive enclosed garden with a large lawn and a small terrace.
There is wheelchair access, appropriate toilet facilities and parking on the edge of the public road. It is licensed for a maximum of 50 persons.Shipbourne Village Hall

 

Current hire rates are:
£8.00 per hour May – September (inclusive),  £12.00 per hour October – April

No Smoking.
Alcohol may not be sold or purchased on the premises.
